He's about to hit 200k miles on his 2005 Civic. He needs to go pick up his wife in Philly, but he wants to be able to document the event, so he is just driving around town to avoid the highway so he can stop when he hits the milestone. He's got about 15 miles to go.

I admire his dedication. My '01 Golf just turned 197k. I plan to stop and take a picture; I just hope my wife isn't driving it at the time. She'll forget.

I have a ton of these somewhere.

My Boxster at 100k 8 miles later the throw-out bearing exploded, 03 explorer hitting 200k, 89 Cherokee hitting 300k, 01 530i hitting 150k, various dealership cars hitting 666, 66666,77777,88888, and so on.

I took a pic of mine at 110,465.5 miles. You would think that's an arbitrary number and it is. But it did look cool! I am not at 188,888 yet.
